Cumnock Community Radio is a vibrant new local station proudly serving East Ayrshire, founded in 2024 by veteran broadcaster Dave Sadler. Dave’s broadcasting journey began in 1976 with Radio Cabin Hospital Radio in Herne Bay, Kent. Since then, he has built an impressive career across the UK, contributing to stations such as Viking Radio in Margate, Medway Radio in the 1990s, and Nevis Radio in Fort William, Scotland. His dedication to local radio continued with Ambersound FM in Ripley, Derbyshire in 2008, and most recently, 3Towns FM in Ardrossan in 2025.

Now, with Cumnock Community Radio, Dave brings his wealth of experience and deep commitment to community storytelling, music, and local news.
